Purpose and Function
The stainless steel slice cutter by Tummers Food Processing Solutions is ideal for cutting potatoes and tubers into slices.  The system is easy to operate and the slice thickness can easily be adjusted without having to halt production. All of the parts of the system were carefully selected and there is only one drive present.  As a result standard maintenance is limited to lubricating the bearings. The machine is very efficient and it has a very high capacity.
Potatoes and tubers are fed into the middle of the machine where they fall into a cylinder with rotating blades. Gravity causes the potatoes to fall to the bottom of the cylinder, while they are sliced along the way. The slices dropped to below the blades.
