Purpose and Function
Clods, earth and stones are separated from potatoes and tubers through application of the upward (water) pressure principle. Products are pushed to the production line. Stones and clods sink to the bottom and can be removed. Tummers Food Processing Solutions stainless steel Destoner has been developed for 24/7 industrial use. The machine is also available as a more affordable agricultural version for less intensive or seasonal use (see Destoner agro).
